Binance will change the minimum price increments for two USDT-margined perpetual contracts Wednesday, altering the price steps traders can use for BLURUSDT and QUSDT orders on the exchange.

The update is scheduled for 2:30 a.m. ET Wednesday, Oct. 28 (06:30 UTC). BLURUSDT's tick size will fall to 0.000001 from 0.00001, while QUSDT's will rise to 0.00001 from 0.000001.

A tick size is the smallest price increment available for a contract. The change will allow BLURUSDT prices to use finer increments and require wider increments for QUSDT.

Trading operations for U-margined contracts will not be affected, and existing orders will remain unaffected. The update follows Binance's Oct. 15 tick-size adjustment for seven perpetual contracts.
