[Korea crypto watch] WLD’s Korean trading share is 25.4 times its global share
WLD’s Korean trading share was 25.4 times its global share, the largest gap in the comparison. ENA led the interest index with 88.7 points, ahead of XRP and WLD.

WLD had the strongest Korean trading concentration among the tokens compared, with its domestic trading share 25.4 times its global share. ENA led the interest index, followed by XRP, while ONDO also drew a substantially larger share of trading in Korea than overseas.
WLD and ONDO retained high domestic trading shares despite weekly price declines of 20.32% and 5.94%, respectively. Their readings showed that concentrated Korean trading did not necessarily coincide with rising prices.
As of October 27 at 12:21 UTC, ENA ranked first on the Korean interest index with 88.7 points. It accounted for 3.17% of domestic trading.
XRP ranked second with 87.7 points and WLD third with 83.7 points. Their domestic trading shares were 14.37% and 5.25%, respectively. Domestic trading volume over 24 hours totaled 24.4 billion won for ENA, 110.7 billion won for XRP and 40.5 billion won for WLD.
The analysis covered 52 tokens traded on both Korean and overseas exchanges. ONDO and SHIB completed the top five in the interest index, followed by DOGE, RLUSD, HBAR, XLM and NEAR.

Other tokens had larger trading shares overseas. BNB represented 0.85% of overseas trading but just 0.03% domestically. USDC also had a smaller domestic share, at 1.94% against 11.18% overseas, as did XAUT, at 0.04% against 0.16%.
HBAR had the highest kimchi premium—the price difference between Korean and overseas markets—at 0.75%, followed by DOGE at 0.60% and ZRO at 0.55%. VVV traded at a 0.70% discount in Korea, while CC and JUP recorded negative premiums of 0.47% and 0.46%, respectively.
[Editor’s note] Korea crypto watch examines domestic trading through an interest index covering tokens traded on both Korean and overseas exchanges. The index combines domestic and global trading shares, the kimchi premium and recent trading surges. Its focus is actual trading volume. Domestic share measures a token’s portion of trading on Korean exchanges; global share measures its portion of overseas trading. The ratio compares those shares, rather than measuring Korea’s contribution to worldwide trading in that token.
