Generali Asset Manager’s Strategy Position Grows 73.7% in Q3
The Sept. 30 position totaled 237,930 shares valued at $36.4 million. The quarter-end figures do not show when or how the shares were acquired.

Generali Asset Management SPA SGR’s position in Strategy Inc. rose 73.7% in the third quarter to 237,930 shares, expanding its quarter-end equity exposure to the Bitcoin-focused company.
The position was valued at $36,424,704 on Sept. 30. That was about 0.64% of the $5,733,511,026 total value in Generali’s information table. The percentage compares the Strategy position with securities listed in that table; it does not measure the manager’s full assets under management or the wider Generali Group portfolio.
Generali’s June 30 table listed 136,945 Strategy shares. The Sept. 30 count was 100,985 shares higher, a 73.7% increase from the June figure. The comparison shows a change between two quarter-end counts, not the number of shares bought during the quarter.
The Oct. 26 Form 13F is a snapshot of reportable securities and their values at quarter end. It does not provide transaction dates, purchase prices or the number of trades behind the change. The filing also does not establish whether the shares were held for Generali’s own account or for other accounts it manages.
The position is in Strategy’s Class A common stock, not a direct Bitcoin (BTC) balance. Strategy held 848,517 BTC as of Oct. 25, at an average acquisition cost of $75,446 per coin. Those company holdings are separate from Generali’s reported share position.
KBC Group also disclosed a larger Strategy position in a separate filing.
