Fed Opens October Meeting as Economists Expect Rates to Hold
The two-day meeting began Tuesday. U.S. spot Ether ETFs recorded $88.6 million in net outflows Monday.

The Federal Reserve opened its two-day October meeting Tuesday, with economists broadly expecting policymakers to keep the target range at 3.75% to 4% at Wednesday’s policy decision.
Persistent inflation has lifted expectations of a possible rate increase in December. Higher rates and Treasury yields typically create tougher conditions for risk assets, including cryptocurrencies, making the Fed’s guidance relevant to Ether markets.
U.S. spot Ether (ETH) ETFs recorded $88.6 million in net outflows Monday, Oct. 26. BlackRock’s ETHA lost about $104.7 million, partly offset by $16.1 million in inflows to Fidelity’s Ethereum fund. Cumulative net flows across the funds remained about $12.66 billion. The withdrawals followed a $110.6 million outflow on Oct. 22 and a $4.4 million inflow the next day.
