YieldMax Sets $0.1805 Weekly Distribution for S&P 500 0DTE ETF
The payment is $0.0006 below last week’s distribution. Oct. 28 is the ex-dividend and record date, with payment set for Oct. 29.

YieldMax set a weekly distribution of $0.1805 per share for its YieldMax S&P 500 0DTE Covered Call Strategy ETF (SDTY), with payment due Thursday, Oct. 29. The fund’s record and ex-dividend dates both fall Wednesday, Oct. 28; the record date determines which shareholders qualify for the payment.
The new amount is $0.0006 below last week’s SDTY distribution of $0.1811.
SDTY’s distribution rate stood at 23.40% as of Monday’s Oct. 26 close. The rate annualizes one payment using the fund’s latest net asset value (NAV), so it does not represent total return. SDTY’s SEC yield for the 30-day period ending Sept. 30 was -0.55%; that measure excludes option income.
SDTY sells S&P 500 call options that expire on the day they are traded as part of its income strategy. The approach can limit gains if the index rises, while a decline can still leave the fund exposed to losses. YieldMax cautioned that “distributions are not guaranteed” and are “likely to vary greatly in amount.”
