YMAG Sets Weekly Distribution at $0.0659, Down 13.97% From Previous Week
The fund set Oct. 28 as both the ex-dividend and record date, with payment scheduled for Oct. 29.

YieldMax set this week’s payment for the YieldMax Magnificent 7 Fund of Option Income ETFs (YMAG) at $0.0659 per share, 13.97% below the prior week’s amount. YieldMax announced the distribution Tuesday, Oct. 27, at 6:55 a.m. ET (10:55 UTC).
The payout is $0.0107 below YMAG’s $0.0766 distribution announced Oct. 20. An earlier YMAG distribution of $0.0768 was announced Oct. 13, before the Oct. 20 amount.
Wednesday, Oct. 28, is both the ex-dividend date and the record date. Payment is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 29.
The fund’s distribution rate was 31.45% as of the Oct. 26 close. That measure annualizes the latest payment against the fund’s latest net asset value and does not represent total return. Its 30-day SEC yield was 60.73% for the period ended Sept. 30; that measure reflects net investment income and excludes option income. The two figures measure different things.
YMAG primarily invests in seven other YieldMax ETFs that use options strategies to seek income and indirect exposure to Apple, Amazon, Alphabet, Meta Platforms, Microsoft, NVIDIA and Tesla. The options approach can limit YMAG to part of potential gains while leaving the fund exposed to potential losses. YieldMax cautioned, “Distributions are not guaranteed.”
