The Tanzania-flagged vessel had previously carried Venezuelan crude to China. From Sept. 1-28, non-Iranian crude exports left the region through three routes.

From Sept. 1-28, 60% of non-Iranian crude exports physically crossed the Strait of Hormuz. Another 23% was loaded on the Gulf of Oman coast outside the strait, while 17% left through the Red Sea.
