Major U.S. stock indexes split at the start of Wednesday's session, with the Nasdaq Composite up 0.43% and the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 0.03%, while the S&P 500 gained 0.24%.
The Nasdaq had the largest move among the three indexes at the open. The S&P 500 also started higher, while the Dow edged lower.
