CoinShares’ planned exchange-traded product (ETP) tied to Zcash (ZEC) was suspended on Euronext Paris on its scheduled Oct. 28 debut, delaying an additional brokerage-based option for the token in France.

Trading had not begun when the exchange halted the product. An Euronext spokesperson cited “operational settlement requirements” and said the suspension would remain in place until further notice.

CoinShares announced the ETP as part of the CoinShares Physical range. It is 100% physically backed by ZEC and carries a 1.5% annual management fee. The company designed it to provide exposure through a regulated exchange security that investors could access through existing brokerage accounts without arranging direct custody.

A separate ZEC-linked product from 21Shares launched on Euronext Paris and Amsterdam in September. That product carries a 2.5% annual management fee. The 21Shares listing in September had already given Paris investors a brokerage-based route to ZEC before CoinShares’ planned debut.
