XRP derivatives open interest on Binance fell 28% from Sept. 22 to $445 million on Oct. 27, a reading below its 180-day average as chart analyst Ali Charts highlighted $1.25 support.

The Binance figure was below the average of about $460 million. Open interest measures the value of outstanding derivatives contracts. Darkfost attributed part of the contraction to XRP’s falling price.

A previous five-asset derivatives snapshot also tracked XRP open interest.

Ali Charts identified $1.25 as support and said a TD Sequential indicator showed a buy signal on XRP’s three-day chart. The analyst said the last three similar signals came before rebounds of 31%, 24% and 18%.
