Binance will remove 10 Cross Margin trading pairs on Oct. 30, ending those markets while keeping the affected assets available through other margin pairs.

The change is scheduled for 2 a.m. ET (06:00 UTC). The pairs are RE/USD1, 币安人生/U, KAT/U, BTC/USDS, ETH/USDS, AVNT/U, FET/U, TRUMP/U, APT/U and WLFI/U.

At the cutoff, Binance will close positions in the pairs, settle them automatically and cancel pending orders. Users will be unable to update positions during the removal process, which may take about three hours. Binance advises users to exit positions or move holdings into spot accounts before the cutoff.

Cross Margin shares account assets as collateral across multiple pairs. A loss in one position can therefore affect the account’s overall risk ratio. The change removes access to the 10 named markets; Binance says users can still trade the affected assets through other available margin pairs.

Binance has also scheduled the removal of 12 BTC-quoted spot pairs for 11 p.m. ET Thursday, Oct. 29 (03:00 UTC Friday), three hours before the margin changes. The list includes the AAVE/BTC spot pair. Binance says the assets in those spot markets will remain available through other spot pairs.

The margin change applies to Binance.com. Binance.US is a separate platform and does not offer margin trading services. The Binance.com change is scheduled to begin at 2 a.m. ET Oct. 30.
