Trader Killa expects a sharp Bitcoin (BTC) reaction on the day of the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting, plus at least 10% volatility over the next seven to 10 days.

He favors an upward move after the meeting, citing his view that traders had reduced risk ahead of it. That scenario could take Bitcoin into the $90,000 range.

Killa also outlined a downside case in which BTC falls about 10%. He said that was not his main expectation, describing an additional decline of that size as extreme because bearish expectations had already formed around the meeting.
