USDC Treasury created 250 million USD Coin (USDC) tokens on Solana Thursday, adding a new issuance of the settlement token to a network that saw the same amount minted earlier this month.

The transaction took place at 7:38 a.m. ET (11:38 UTC) on Oct. 29. USDC is a digital token used to settle transactions. Solana is a blockchain network for digital assets and applications.

A previous 250 million USDC issuance took place on Solana Oct. 2, in an earlier mint.
