Rayls Delays Investor and Team RLS Unlocks Until May 2027

Rayls says the revised schedule and Parfin’s August lockup extension will leave about 1.2 billion fewer RLS in circulation as of 2027, roughly 25% below the original plan.

Rayls will begin monthly unlocks for investor- and team-allocated RLS tokens in May 2027, replacing a December 2026 start under the prior schedule and delaying the release of those allocations.

The revised plan spreads the releases across four years. Rayls estimates that the change, combined with an August lockup extension by Parfin, its core developer, will leave about 1.2 billion fewer RLS in circulation as of 2027 than under the original plan, or roughly 25% less. More than 500 million RLS will still be locked in December 2026.

The adjustment applies to RLS allocated to investors and team members, while Parfin’s extension is a separate lockup change announced in August. Rayls combines the two arrangements for its 2027 circulation estimate and described the revised unlocking pace as slower and smoother.

Rayls focuses on blockchain infrastructure for banks. Its investors include ParaFi Capital, Framework, Valor Capital and Alexia Ventures.
