A Recorded 2021 Shiba Inu High Implies $50.77 Billion Market Cap

Using the 589.238 trillion SHIB supply in an Oct. 29 snapshot, the implied value is about 17.3 times SHIB’s $2.928 billion market capitalization in that snapshot.

Shiba Inu (SHIB) would have an implied market capitalization of about $50.77 billion at a recorded 2021 high of $0.00008616, using the 589.238 trillion tokens in an Oct. 29 snapshot. That is about 17.3 times SHIB’s $2.928 billion market capitalization in that snapshot.

The calculation combines a historical price with the supply in the Oct. 29 snapshot. It describes a hypothetical valuation, not a forecast or an estimate of how much cash would need to enter the market. Market capitalization is calculated by multiplying a token’s price by its circulating supply.

Historical price records differ on SHIB’s high. One lists $0.00008616 on Oct. 27, 2021, while another lists $0.00008845 on Oct. 28. Applying the latter price to the same 589.238 trillion supply implies a market capitalization of about $52.12 billion.

A separate snapshot dated Oct. 27, 2021, listed SHIB at a rounded $0.00008, with a $31.58 billion market capitalization and 394.796 trillion tokens in circulation. That dated snapshot is not synchronized with either intraday high, so it does not establish the circulating supply at the time of those prices.
