PancakeSwap said its July trading across tokenized stocks, exchange-traded funds, bonds and other assets topped $1 billion, while broader tokenized-equity markets recorded $7.9 billion in August volume.

The July total compared with $50 million in June. More than $575 million of July activity occurred during its final week. The figure combines several asset types and does not measure stock trading alone.

By the end of August, PancakeSwap had more than 41.4% of trading across 67 bStocks, a group of tokenized stocks and ETFs. The measurement period for that share was unspecified. It covers bStocks activity, not PancakeSwap’s share of all tokenized-stock trading across issuers and blockchain networks. TokenPost previously covered PancakeSwap’s bStocks trading share.

The broader tokenized-equity market had a capitalization of about $4 billion as of Sept. 9. Its August trading volume was $7.9 billion, up from $237 million in January. Those figures cover the overall market rather than PancakeSwap alone.

bStocks are BEP-20 tokens on BNB Chain, each backed one-to-one by a U.S. share. Availability varies by region.
