Wallet Moves 7 Million UNI Tied to Binance Security Incident
The receiving wallet sold 3.86 million UNI in 23 transactions by 6:02 p.m. ET; its controller has not been identified.

An address that received tokens in Binance outflows moved 7,011,783.90 Uniswap (UNI) to another wallet Thursday, a transfer worth about $47.26 million at the time and followed by sales from the receiving address.
The transfer occurred at 5:46 p.m. ET Thursday, Oct. 29 (21:46 UTC). At 6:02 p.m. ET (22:01:59 UTC), the receiving address had sold 3.86 million UNI across 23 transactions and held 3.16 million UNI and 10,002 Ether (ETH).
Earlier that day, Binance 14 sent 167,464 ETH and more than 60 tokens, including 6.19 million UNI, to the collector address at 4:24 p.m. ET (20:24 UTC). The 7.01 million UNI transfer was an onward movement from that collector, rather than a direct Binance withdrawal. The recipient wallet’s controller has not been identified.
Binance said it was investigating reports of a potential security issue. Binance co-founder Changpeng Zhao wrote, “It does look like a hack on Binance.” Binance has not confirmed a hack or losses of customer funds.
