Bitcoin’s Coinbase premium touched its lowest level in four years, while CryptoQuant founder Ki Young Ju said the deeply pessimistic mood could itself be read as bullish for Bitcoin.

Ju wrote on X that a comparable reading last appeared after FTX collapsed in November 2022, when Bitcoin reached a bottom. He characterized current market sentiment as sufficiently pessimistic to carry a bullish interpretation.

On Oct. 13, the Coinbase Bitcoin Premium Index had been below zero for 20 consecutive days.
