[Editor's note] This column tracks Korean crypto trading through an interest index covering tokens traded on both domestic and overseas exchanges. The index combines domestic trading share, global trading share, the kimchi premium and recent trading increases. Its focus is actual trading volume. Domestic share measures a token's portion of domestic exchange volume; global share measures its portion of overseas volume. Comparing the two shows how strongly trading is concentrated in Korea.
