Analysts at Cantor Fitzgerald, TD Cowen and Compass Point said Friday the Binance security incident was unlikely to trigger a systemic crisis across crypto markets, as they assessed its potential effects on rival trading platforms.

TD Cowen viewed the attack primarily as a security issue at Binance. Compass Point said the exchange had enough liquidity to absorb losses. It also said users and trading volume could shift to other centralized exchanges or decentralized platforms, including Hyperliquid.

The firms’ shared assessment addressed whether the incident could spread beyond Binance into wider crypto markets. Compass Point described a possible movement of activity to rival venues, not a shift that had already occurred.
