Bitfinex Sends $576.9 Million in USDT to Tether Treasury in Three Hours

Bitfinex sent 577,350,100 Tether (USDT), valued at $576.9 million, to Tether Treasury in three transfers during the three hours ending at 11 p.m. ET Oct. 30.

The largest transfer was 222.7 million USDT, worth $222.4 million, at 8:47 p.m. ET. Another 158.75 million USDT, valued at $158.7 million, moved at 9:05 p.m. ET. The final transfer was 195,900,100 USDT, worth $195.7 million, at 9:35 p.m. ET. All three had Bitfinex as the sender and Tether Treasury as the recipient.

Transfers from unknown wallets to exchanges totaled $0 during the window. Transfers from exchanges to unknown wallets also totaled $0; those tracked flow categories were separate from the three Bitfinex-to-Tether Treasury transfers.

A separate Oct. 28 batch involved four transactions between the same two entities, with a combined stated value of $765.3 million.
