Binance’s SAFU wallet transferred 7,500 Bitcoin (BTC) on Oct. 31 in a move that may be tied to the exchange’s effort to replenish assets affected by a security incident.

On-chain records show the BTC moved in three transactions. The wallet held 7,500 BTC after the transfers, with that remaining balance valued at about $580 million. The amount sent therefore matched the number of BTC left at the address, though the $580 million valuation applies to the remaining balance.

Binance announced on Oct. 31 that about 90% of affected assets had been replenished, up from 80% in an earlier disclosure. That is a 10-percentage-point increase in the reported share.

The timing places the transfer alongside Binance’s replenishment update, but the connection between the wallet movement and asset recovery remains tentative. The transfer describes activity at one address; the 90% figure describes Binance’s broader progress in replacing affected assets.
