A wallet that Lookonchain attributed to the Binance hacker exchanged 908,793 PROM tokens, valued at about $5 million, into a nearly empty Uniswap V2 liquidity pool and received only 0.0316 Ether (ETH), worth about $71.

The two values describe different sides of the trade: about $5 million was the reported value of the PROM offered, while $71 was the value of the ETH received. The swap therefore returned far less than the tokens' stated value.

The pool had almost no liquidity, leaving little available to take the other side of a sale of this size. The gap reflects extreme slippage: a trade through a thin pool can return far less than the token's reported value. Here, the output was 0.0316 ETH despite the PROM amount being valued near $5 million.

The trade shows how the pool's limited liquidity shaped the result. The size of the token valuation alone did not determine how much the pool could return.
