Bitcoin (BTC) fell below $78,000, with Binance spot at $77,939 at 1:39 a.m. ET (06:39 UTC) on Nov. 1, in TokenPost’s own price collection.

The quote was $61 under the $78,000 mark. Binance spot had been at exactly $78,000 15 minutes before the latest reading, putting the drop below the threshold within that short interval.

Bitcoin was still up 0.12% over the hour ending at 1:39 a.m. ET. That percentage compares the latest price with its level one hour earlier, while the 15-minute reference shows the price immediately before the move below $78,000.

The two readings describe separate time windows: BTC moved below a fixed dollar threshold after standing at that level 15 minutes earlier, while remaining higher than its one-hour-ago price. That distinction matters when reading the headline figure alongside the hourly change; the percentage does not mean Bitcoin was above $78,000 at the latest snapshot. Bitcoin is the largest crypto asset by market capitalization.
