Binance co-founder He Yi challenged an estimate of about $2 billion in net outflows from the exchange, saying some new hot-wallet addresses may have been counted as funds leaving Binance. She said the estimate could be checked across multiple tools.

The estimate put Binance’s current net outflow at roughly $2 billion. He Yi’s reply focused on how Binance’s new hot-wallet addresses may have been treated in that calculation, leaving the outflow figure in question rather than confirming it.

Her comment did not provide a replacement total. It pointed to a possible wallet-address classification issue: if newly used Binance hot wallets are included in an outflow count, the figure may overstate funds moving away from the exchange. Her response did not quantify how much those addresses might affect the estimate.
