The number of US-listed operating companies mentioning digital assets in filings rose to 105 over the latest 30-day period, from 67 in the preceding period.

Filings submitted from October 2 to November 1, 2026, included 224 documents mentioning digital assets across 118 filers. Excluding 13 funds, ETFs and trusts left 105 operating companies. Separately, 40 operating companies mentioned bitcoin and 16 mentioned ethereum. The exclusion keeps routine fund disclosures from being counted alongside operating-company disclosures.

Stablecoin mentions broaden

Stablecoin mentions reached 26 operating companies, up from 17 in the preceding period. Of those, 24 had no matching mention in the comparison period. New names included SkyAI, Inc. (SKYA), CSLM Digital Asset Acquisition Corp III, Ltd (KOYN) and Treasure Global Inc (TGL).

The number of operating companies mentioning bitcoin fell to 40 from 48. Mentions of the phrase “digital asset treasury” reached 18 operating companies, compared with 13 previously.

Financial services dominate

Across the tracked terms, other financial services accounted for 32 companies, followed by state banks with 8 and business services with 7. By location, New York led with 23 companies, followed by Florida with 21 and California with 18.

Industry classifications require care when assessing these results because a company's code can lag a change in its business. Processa Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (PCSA) and Apimeds Pharmaceuticals US, Inc. (APUS), for example, are classified under pharmaceuticals. Processa appeared among new filers mentioning digital assets and digital asset treasury, while Apimeds appeared among new filers mentioning ethereum. These classifications alone do not establish how the companies currently operate.

Companies with the most mentions

Evernorth Holdings Inc. (XRPN) led filings mentioning digital assets with 12, followed by Strive, Inc. (ASST) with 11, OpenWorld, Inc. (OPNW) with 10, Bitmine Immersion Technologies, Inc. (BMNP) with 6 and BNB Standard Corp (BNC) with 4. For bitcoin, Strive led with 13, followed by Strategy Inc (MSTR) with 9, Bitmine Immersion Technologies with 6 and Super League Enterprise, Inc. (SLE) with 4. The counts measure filings, so one company can appear more than once.

There were 82 companies with digital-asset mentions that had no matching mention in the preceding period. They included Vulcan Infrastructure & Power Inc. (VIP), Stablecoin Development Corp (SDEV), Galaxy Digital Inc. (GLXY) and Riot Platforms, Inc. (RIOT).

Methodology

The count captures companies mentioning the relevant asset or phrase in filing text. References can concern holdings, risk factors or business plans, so a mention does not establish ownership. Actual holdings and quantities require examination of each company's financial-statement notes. Changes in the number of filers provide a measure of how widely these subjects appear in corporate disclosures.

Industries follow the SEC's four-digit Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) codes. Because classifications may lag business changes, they should be read as recorded industry categories rather than definitive descriptions of current operations.

The documents covered are quarterly reports (10-Q), annual reports (10-K) and current reports (8-K). The comparison period runs from September 2 to October 1, 2026. The data comes from the SEC's EDGAR filings database.
