Solana Spot Selling Overtakes Buying in First Such Shift in Over Six Months
U.S. spot Solana exchange-traded funds recorded $25.52 million in weekly net outflows for the week ended Oct. 16.

Solana (SOL) spot-market sell volume has moved ahead of buying in a turn not seen for over half a year, while U.S. spot Solana exchange-traded funds (ETFs) continued to record net withdrawals in October.
U.S. spot Solana ETFs recorded $25.52 million in net outflows for the week ended Oct. 16. They had $24.81 million in outflows during the previous week, marking a second consecutive week of withdrawals.
Spot-market volume and ETF flows are separate measures: the first compares SOL buying and selling, while the second tracks net money movement in U.S. spot funds. The latest readings showed selling ahead of buying alongside continued withdrawals.
