Binance Outflows Top $4 Billion After Withdrawal Restart
The outflows included 19,569 Bitcoin (BTC) and 154,147 Ether (ETH), plus $1.96 billion in Tether (USDT) and $557 million in USD Coin (USDC).

More than $4 billion in Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH) and stablecoins left Binance after withdrawals resumed Nov. 1.
The withdrawals comprised 19,569 BTC (nearly $1.5 billion) and 154,147 ETH (about $360 million). Stablecoin withdrawals amounted to $1.96 billion in USDT and $557 million in USDC.
Binance scheduled its first withdrawal phase for Nov. 1 from 1 a.m. to 4 a.m. ET (06:00 to 09:00 UTC). The exchange planned to restore access gradually across assets and networks after security checks. Binance said it had covered about 95% of the affected amount and would absorb the losses.
A separate $1.02 billion net-outflow figure is not directly comparable with these asset totals.
Binance suspended withdrawals after an Oct. 29 security incident that it estimated affected about $6.3 billion. The company’s initial investigation pointed to a compromised DevOps engineer’s laptop, and Binance said it found no evidence of a wallet private-key leak.
