A Bitcoin (BTC) market snapshot showed Coinbase’s near-market spot book with $20.5927 million in sell orders and $17.2901 million in buy orders, leaving a $3.3026 million sell-side surplus. Bitcoin was priced at $78,326 in the same snapshot.

The balance differed on two other venues: Binance spot and OKX perpetual markets each had more buy-side than sell-side depth, but their reported order sizes were smaller than Coinbase’s. A bid is a buy order; an ask is a sell order. The figures compare the amounts displayed on each side of the near-market book.

An Oct. 27 Coinbase snapshot showed sell orders exceeding bids by $11.89 million. That earlier reading came from Oct. 27; the two observations show separate conditions and do not establish a continuous trend.

An order-book snapshot records displayed orders at a specific observation. It does not show completed trades or establish that the imbalance persisted after the observation.
