Ripple returned 700 million XRP to escrow after releasing 1 billion in its November cycle, leaving 300 million outside escrow and making the net movement smaller than the initial unlock.

The release consisted of two 500 million XRP transactions.

Three subsequent transactions locked 500 million XRP and two batches of 100 million XRP. The transactions left 300 million XRP outside escrow. The transactions show how many tokens left and returned to escrow; they do not establish that Ripple sold the remaining tokens.

Ripple’s escrow routine releases XRP each month and locks remaining tokens again.
