Binance handled $943 billion in stock-linked perpetual trades across nine tracked crypto exchanges in the third quarter of 2026, capturing 58.60% of their volume as activity concentrated on a few platforms.

The nine exchanges processed about $1.61 trillion in stock-linked perpetuals during the quarter. OKX ranked second at $254 billion, or 15.79% of tracked volume, while Bitget followed with $122 billion and 7.60%. Together, the three exchanges accounted for about 82% of the sample’s stock-linked perpetual trading.

Stock-linked contracts also dominated trading in perpetuals tied to traditional assets. They represented 77% of the roughly $2.1 trillion traded across the category, compared with $491 billion in commodity-linked perpetual contracts. Stock-linked volume was more than three times the commodity total.

Trading was concentrated in individual contracts as well as exchanges. The 20 most-traded stock-linked contracts accounted for 88% of equity perpetual volume across the nine exchanges, while the top five made up 64%. Seven of the top 20 were tied to memory-chip stocks or exchange-traded funds.

The number of traditional-asset perpetual contracts listed across the nine exchanges nearly doubled during the quarter. Weekend trading volume in the category averaged about 14% of weekday volume.
