The total was the tracker’s highest daily count since Sept. 26. Account totals measure funded ledger addresses, not individual users.

The XRP Ledger recorded 7,962 newly activated accounts Sunday, Nov. 1, the highest daily total in the series since it began Sept. 26, adding a new reading to a recurring network metric.

The figure counts funded ledger addresses, not verified individuals. One person can control multiple accounts, while private exchanges may use shared accounts for customers. The total therefore does not establish how many people opened wallets or joined the network.

A Payment can create an account by funding a valid address that has not previously held one. The XRP Ledger has no separate account-creation transaction. Its current base reserve is one XRP.

TokenPost previously examined how XRP Ledger account metrics describe ledger activity without establishing how many people were active. The latest daily tally adds another observation, but it does not identify what drove the increase or whether the activity continued.

The count also does not connect the increase to a specific company, app or launch. A single day’s total cannot establish a sustained adoption trend.
