Nvidia Shares Rise 1.64% Premarket After 10.4% October Slide

Nvidia shares rose in an early Monday premarket snapshot after ending October lower than they began the month, while remaining well below their Oct. 6 record closing price.

At 4:42 a.m. ET Monday, the stock was quoted at $208, up 1.64% from Friday’s $204.64 regular-session close. The quote was a premarket reading ahead of the regular U.S. stock session.

Nvidia’s Oct. 30 close was 10.4% below its Sept. 30 close of $228.38. The comparison uses Nvidia’s Sept. 30 and Oct. 30 closing prices.

Friday’s finish was also 14.5% below Nvidia’s record close of $239.24, set Oct. 6. That percentage uses the record close as its starting point, so it measures a different move from the October decline.
