Nvidia Gains 1.5% as U.S. Chip Sector Advances Monday Morning

The U.S. chip sector advanced Monday morning, with Nvidia up 1.5% by 9:43 a.m. ET (14:43 UTC), while two names fell more than 5% in an earlier update.

SK Hynix rose 3.3% in the 9:43 a.m. update. Qualcomm gained 2.6%, while Texas Instruments climbed 1.9%.

Marvell and Lumentum were each down more than 5% at 9:35 a.m. ET (14:35 UTC), eight minutes before the later snapshot. The figures reflect two separate observation times.
