Dow Gains More Than 1% as Strategy Shares Climb Nearly 3.9%

U.S. stocks advanced in Monday intraday trading, with the Dow up more than 1% as Strategy shares gained nearly 3.9% and other crypto-linked stocks also rose.

The Nasdaq Composite gained about 1.1%, while the S&P 500 rose about 1%. The VIX fell nearly 6.8% to about 18.1.

Shares of SpaceX (SPCX) climbed nearly 4.7%. Circle (CRCL) gained about 3.5%, and BitMine (BMNR) advanced about 3%.

Gains were uneven among technology-related companies. Lumentum (LITE) fell more than 10%, Marvell Technology (MRVL) dropped more than 5% and Seagate (STX) declined nearly 3.5%. SK Hynix’s U.S.-traded ADR (SKHY) rose nearly 4%.
