Ether (ETH) vault strategies in the tracked data underperformed staking in September, while dollar-focused curators beat Treasuries, showing divergent results across two yield benchmarks for crypto investors.

Tracked vault deposits rose about 15% to $9.8 billion, the highest level since November 2025. The increase alone does not show how much came from new deposits, asset-price movements or changes in the tracked sample.

The comparisons use different reference points: staking is relevant to ETH holders, while Treasury returns provide a dollar-based benchmark. The September findings therefore reflect separate comparisons rather than one common measure of performance.

TokenPost previously covered the tracked vault market’s growth and risk concerns in its report on crypto lending vaults.
