iShares SHYM Sets November Distribution at $0.075001 Per Share

The iShares Short Duration High Yield Muni Active ETF (SHYM) set its November distribution at $0.075001 per share, with payment scheduled for Nov. 5. The fund’s declaration date was Oct. 30.

Nov. 2 was both the ex-dividend date and the record date. The ex-dividend date determines when a buyer no longer qualifies for a distribution, while the record date identifies shareholders eligible to receive it. Investors eligible for the payment were determined on Nov. 2.

The full distribution is classified as income, with no amount allocated to short- or long-term capital gains or return of capital. The monthly payout comes from an actively managed fund investing in short-duration, high-yield U.S. municipal bonds.

SHYM’s 30-day SEC yield was 4.43% as of Oct. 29. That yield is a separate measure from the announced per-share distribution.

The iShares High Yield Muni Active ETF (HIMU) is also scheduled to pay on Nov. 5, with a $0.197929-per-share distribution. TokenPost previously covered HIMU’s November payout.
