USDC Treasury Mints 1 Billion USD Coin Tokens on Solana in 10 Minutes

Four transactions created 250 million USDC each, sending the tokens to a Circle-controlled treasury account.

USDC Treasury created 1 billion USD Coin (USDC) tokens on Solana over 10 minutes Monday, Nov. 2, sending them to a Circle-controlled account in four transactions of 250 million USDC apiece.

The window ran from 1:12 to 1:22 p.m. ET (18:12-18:22 UTC).

An earlier 500 million USDC mint on Solana in two transactions took place Oct. 20. Monday's issuance was twice that total.

Separately, the receiving USDC Treasury token account had a balance of about 1.756 billion USDC.
