Three Addresses Open $3.69 Million in ORCL-Linked Short Positions
The positions began roughly five and a half hours after Oracle’s $20 billion financing plan became public.

Three blockchain addresses opened about $3.69 million in ORCL-linked short positions after Oracle’s $20 billion financing plan became public, representing 20.3% of the contract’s open interest as of publication.
Oracle plans to raise $10 billion through a common stock offering and another $10 billion through senior notes. The addresses began opening their shorts roughly five and a half hours after the financing document became public.
The positions were nearly equal in size, at about $1.23 million each. Their entry prices were $120.45, $120.39 and $120.24, producing a weighted average entry price of $120.36. A short position gains value when the contract price falls.
As of publication, the ORCL-linked contract traded at $119.33, down 9.97% over 24 hours. The three shorts accounted for 20.3% of open interest, the total amount of outstanding contracts, and showed about $31,500 in unrealized gains. Those gains reflect positions that remained open. The quoted price is for the contract tied to ORCL, not Oracle shares.
