Ether (ETH) held at major exchange addresses fell about 297,000 from the Oct. 28 close to the Nov. 2 close, with the largest balance drop coming after platforms reopened withdrawals.

Holdings across those addresses declined 5.4% over the period. The share of all ETH supply held on trading platforms also fell, from 3.56% to 3.20%.

More than half of that supply-share decline occurred on Oct. 29, the day of Binance’s security breach. Roughly 200,630 ETH left Binance hot wallets that day, while major exchange addresses collectively added about 39,000 ETH.

Those addresses lost about 313,000 ETH between Nov. 1 and Nov. 2 as platforms reopened withdrawals. The aggregate figures do not show whether the ETH moved into cold wallets or to other exchanges.
