A trader on Hyperliquid opened new leveraged long positions in Ether and HYPE worth about $43 million after closing Bitcoin, HYPE and Zcash longs that together lost roughly $6.13 million. The new exposure came after a sizable losing exit, with the trader returning to a long position in HYPE as well as opening an Ether position.

The closed Bitcoin (BTC) position lost about $4.4 million, while the HYPE close cost roughly $1.13 million and the Zcash (ZEC) exit lost around $600,000. Bitcoin represented roughly 72% of the combined losses, calculated from the three reported figures.

The new positions combine Ether (ETH) and HYPE in leveraged longs, with their reported value totaling about $43 million. HYPE appears in both parts of the sequence: a losing long was closed before another leveraged HYPE long was opened alongside ETH. The account's historical profit-and-loss tally stood at a loss of about $5.88 million.
