Calamos Convertible Opportunities and Income Fund (CHI) declared a November distribution of $0.095 per share, keeping its monthly payment level with October ahead of the Nov. 20 payout.

The fund set Nov. 13 as both the ex-dividend date and the record date.

Calamos estimates the distribution will be classified entirely as short-term capital gains, with $0.000 assigned to ordinary income, long-term capital gains and return of capital. The tax breakdown is informational and may change before final tax reporting.

CHI’s stated objective is total return through capital appreciation and current income. It invests in convertible securities and high-yield corporate bonds.
