Nvidia Reclaims $5 Trillion Market Value as Shares Rise 3.11%
Apple shares fell 3.64% in the same early-session snapshot, leaving its market value about $280 billion below Nvidia's.

Nvidia's market value climbed back above $5 trillion in early U.S. trading Tuesday as a 3.11% share gain returned the chipmaker to the top of the U.S. market-cap rankings.
Nvidia shares traded at $208.34, putting its market capitalization at $5.02 trillion. Those figures were recorded in the opening stretch of the U.S. session, so the return above $5 trillion reflects intraday trading rather than a closing valuation.
Apple shares fell 3.64% to $326 in the same snapshot, giving it a $4.74 trillion market value. The difference between the two rounded valuations was about $280 billion. Nvidia's rise and Apple's decline moved their market values in opposite directions at the start of U.S. trading.
Tuesday's move took it back across that line as traders watched technology and AI shares. The ranking reflects early-session prices and could change before the close.
