Standard Chartered’s 2028 RWA Target Equals 57 Times Its 2025 Figure

Standard Chartered’s May 2026 investor presentation set a $2 trillion target for tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) in 2028 and showed $35 billion for 2025. The target is about 57 times the 2025 figure, a ratio obtained by dividing the two amounts.

A Nov. 3 snapshot listed distributed asset value at $39.34 billion and represented asset value at $408.71 billion. Stablecoin value was listed separately at $284.86 billion.

Distributed assets can move beyond the issuing platform and between wallets. Represented assets cannot. The snapshot’s categories measure different things, so its figures do not provide a like-for-like comparison with the presentation’s 2025 baseline. The figures reflect different RWA market measures.
