The peso-denominated fund has one class of fund units, carries no risk rating and aims to replicate the MSCI MERVAL stock index.

Argentina’s Comisión Nacional de Valores (CNV) launched the country’s first Open Investment Fund (FCIA), a peso-denominated product designed to replicate the MSCI MERVAL index.
The fund is intended to widen access to Argentine equities for local and foreign investors. Its index-linked structure offers a passive way to gain exposure to the market.
The fund’s shares will be traded on Bolsas y Mercados Argentinos S.A. (BYMA).
The fund has a single class of fund units and carries no risk rating. The MSCI MERVAL is a stock index.
