Nasdaq-100 Futures Lead U.S. Stock Declines as Losses Narrow

S&P 500 futures fell 0.93%, while Dow futures lost 0.57%.

U.S. stock-index futures stayed in negative territory as losses narrowed, led by a 1.58% decline in Nasdaq-100 futures, signaling risk-off pressure relevant to crypto markets.

Contracts tied to the S&P 500 were down 0.93%, while Dow futures fell 0.57%. Among the three benchmarks in the update, Nasdaq-100 futures had the steepest decline. The Nasdaq-100 loss exceeded the S&P 500 futures decline by 0.65 percentage point and the Dow futures drop by 1.01 points. All three contracts remained negative even as their losses narrowed.

The three contracts therefore rank from the deepest loss in Nasdaq-100 futures to the smallest decline in Dow futures, with S&P 500 futures between them. The snapshot describes losses easing, not a move into gains: each benchmark contract remained negative. That leaves equity markets with a negative reading across all three measures, although each loss had narrowed. For crypto market participants, the cross-market signal is broad risk-off pressure in U.S. equities rather than a move in any one digital asset.
