S&P 500 Futures Turn Positive, Erasing Earlier 1.4% Decline

The move extends a rebound from earlier losses in U.S. stock-index futures.

Futures tied to the S&P 500 turned positive Wednesday after falling as much as 1.4%, reversing an earlier decline in a U.S. equity benchmark watched across risk markets.

The contracts recovered from their deepest reported loss and moved above flat. The 1.4% figure describes how far futures had fallen earlier, rather than the size of their subsequent gain. Turning positive marks a change in direction, but gives no measure of how far the contracts rose after erasing the loss.

The update concerns contracts tied to the U.S. stock benchmark, which trade separately from the index itself.

For crypto markets, the reversal changes the signal from a major U.S. risk-market gauge. The futures move alone does not establish a corresponding price change in any digital asset.
