Hyperliquid Whale Shorts Reach $4.10 Billion in $7.71 Billion Tally

Short positions held by Hyperliquid whales exceeded longs by about $481 million in a Nov. 4 tally, with shorts accounting for 53.12% of $7.714 billion in total positions.

Shorts totaled $4.098 billion, while longs stood at $3.617 billion. The long-to-short position-value ratio was 0.88. Longs made up the remaining 46.88% of positions.

The tally listed $22.2027 million in PnL for short positions and $15.9734 million for longs. Total positions were above the $7.522 billion in a Nov. 2 tally of Hyperliquid whale positions, when shorts accounted for 53.71% of exposure.

One address, 0x5b5d..60, held a 5x cross-margin short in Ether (ETH) entered at $2,322.71. The position showed $5.4018 million in unrealized PnL.
