A Hyperliquid trader’s crude oil longs showed a $3.84 million paper loss on about $144.5 million in exposure in a recent account snapshot, versus $954,900 in an earlier snapshot.

The West Texas Intermediate (WTI) long was worth about $55.25 million and showed an unrealized loss of $1.82 million. The Brent long was worth about $89.23 million and showed an unrealized loss of $2.02 million. Both positions remained open.

Each position used 10x cross margin. The account’s effective leverage was about 8.98x, based on collateral shared by the two positions. The listed liquidation prices were $73.06 for WTI and $87.96 for Brent. Because the positions draw on the same collateral, those levels can change with the account’s equity.

An earlier snapshot of the trader’s oil longs showed positions worth $147.37 million and a combined unrealized loss of $954,900 as of 9:52 p.m. ET on Nov. 2. The new figures show a larger paper loss and a lower combined position value. The losses remain unrealized while the positions are open.
