MEXC’s Nov. 4 Q3 report disclosed sharp increases in stock-linked trading during July and August, with Stock Futures volume rising as much as 483% from the May-June period.

Volume for individual-stock futures was up 179%, while index futures gained 288% and ETF futures climbed 483%. The report gave percentage changes but no absolute volume totals for those categories.

RealStocks trading users increased 608% in July and August compared with May and June, while first-time traders rose 561%. The number of users holding RealStocks positions at the end of August was 105.2% higher than at the end of June. MEXC announced RealStocks on June 1 as access to U.S.-listed shares through a securities-broker partner.

By the end of September, MEXC offered more than 460 futures contracts tied to stocks, indexes and ETFs across the U.S., Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and mainland China. Taiwan stocks joined the lineup in September. MEXC had scheduled futures tied to MEDIATEK, TSMC, UMC and DELTAELEC to list Sept. 24, 2026, at 12:30 a.m. ET (04:30 UTC).

The 0808 Stock Season ran Aug. 8-28 and drew more than 86,000 participants. Combined trading across Stock Futures, tokenized stocks and RealStocks exceeded $50 billion, and trading-fee savings topped $1 million. MEXC did not break out the event’s volume by product.

“RealStocks, tokenized stocks, and Stock Futures may all reference the same company, yet have different trading mechanisms and risks,” MEXC CEO Vugar Usi said.

The July-August figures extend an earlier analysis of MEXC Stock Futures activity through Aug. 11, which compared Sunday volume with Tuesday-Friday trading.
